Our story
Cindy Warner and Christina McDaniel met back in 2001, when Cindy was the buyer for a pioneering independent beauty boutique and Christina was the buyer for a cutting edge fashion + lifestyle boutique. They were located just a block apart in an up-and-coming warehouse district that was soon to become a destination shopping neighbourhood. Both their stores were at the forefront of shaping a hip new business community that offered, at the time, some of the city’s best restaurants, showrooms, home décor boutiques, fashion retailers, independent boutiques + salons.
After 12 years in the neighbourhood, both took a year’s sabbatical from the retail business and in 2014, decided to hone their combined skills and experience to start Warner McDaniel Agency. Seeing a gap in the market for a modern, thoughtful approach to sales based on years of buying, merchandising and retail experience, the agency’s objective was to offer retailers a highly curated selection of brands across a spectrum of established, emerging and new market launches.
